The Tar Series kickwaxes are best in new snow. The tar additive will help prevent icing which is common with newer snow types. The tar blue is best when the new snow is going from cold to warm in the mid teens. Suggestions for binder would be a standard base wax without any klister additive like Rex Base, or Vauhti GS Base AT because of the new snow.
