The Tar Series kickwaxes are best in new snow. The tar additive will help prevent icing which is common with newer snow types. The tar green is best for dry new snow in the single digits that has some shine or glaze in the tracks. Suggestions for binder would be a standard base wax without any klister additive like Rex Base, or Vauhti GS Base AT because of the new snow.
